    Is my bearded dragon sick?

Is my bearded dragon sick? it did not poop for around 2 months then it did a few days ago it was small and half the part that is normally white was brown. Also for the past 2-3 months she has most days slept almost all day and only been active a little. and she has not been eating very much.

How old? They should poop daily or at least every other day. I would head to a vet.

Re: Is my bearded dragon sick?

They can Brumate in the winter and be much less active and eat less.

How old is your Bearded Dragon? What are temps, etc? Are you using UVB?

However, not pooping for that long is very unusual. I agree you might need a vet visit.

What are you feeding and how often?

I think she is almost 2 years old, I use uvb, and I give her bok choy crickets and super worms, I tried Dubai roaches but she doesn't like them

    To the vet.

Even if your beardie is trying to brumate, you'd want to at least get a checkup before as this can ensure parasite levels are low. If parasite levels are high your beardie could become sick during brumation and pass. I do 2x checkups per year - Fall & Spring, just to make sure everything's ok. It can take a while before these guys show signs of illness, so it's nice to keep occasional checkups as part of your maintenance.

In your case, these symptoms are a clear sign that she's ill. So I'd get her in immediately. You'd want her poop to be regular and her urate to be nice and white. Do you have a good reptile vet nearby?

Also, make sure you're changing her UVB every 6 months whether it's giving off light or not. And her basking temps are important- so ensure those are right.

She also needs more variety in her veggies.

    Get her well.

Then feed all different kinds of good bearded dragon veggies.

Just bok choy is not enough.
