Are you asking why he nosing around the lid? All anyone can do is presume. Some people will tell you its stress, some people will tell you he's just getting used to his enclosure, some people will tell you he's exploring... And some will say to check tour husbandry...

Booplesnoop was doing this last night which is weird because she has never done it. She kept me awake because she was popping the lid. Nothing has changed in her tank.

Does anyone know what that black thing is on his mouth? There is nothing in the enclosure that would rub off like that.

Pudding progression thread
Your back to this?
Im not going over feeding again with you bro... your indecisive and go back and forth about everything that people go over with you.
Now you want to know if going back and forth to each hide is normal? Well why else do you think we would suggest having two hides?
As far as a Black mark on his lip.. Didn't you ask this question like three weeks ago and then find out that you saw it on the picture from the store too? How do we know what that is?
Ive PMed you tons of times, answered all your posts but this is getting silly. If you haven't noticed people stop answering when you just keep going over the same things again and again.
Lastly why are you holding a snake by the neck that hasn't eatin for you yet?
You're your own worst enemy.

oh him going back and forth the hide was asked way before but it wasn't really intended to be a question but just talking, just progression of him thermoregulating many times. As far as mouth part, I know that he has some stuck shed or something which will go away after shed, but the black thing is new. I have seen somewhere about RI so I wanted to ask. Looks like I am holding/squeezing snake by the neck but he came up like that and I was supporting it. He won't let me do that unless he moves by himself like that. Looks more like black gunk but picture doesn't show very well.
