It will settle down and go hide after it checks everything out really well. Just leave it alone.

    Good looking snake.

Very cool! I have a bumblebee
Maybe someday I’ll make a bananabee. I still have college left for my masters so it’s gonna be a few years before I can start any breeding projects

Yes yes, it is very very tempting to handle but I am leaving it alone. The snake went into the hot spot hide for couple hours, then just now he moved to the cool side spot. Just because he is moving doesn't mean hot spot is "TOO HOT" for him right? he just wants some cool yea? lol

As long as the temps are good....yes. They'll go where they need to.

so if they are in the cool spot instead of the hot spot, does that necessarily mean that cool spot is on good temp? Two identical hide is provided.

As long as ALL temps are within proper range the snake will go where it wants and be fine.

alright, what do you think I should feed the snake? they told me mouse hopper, but I feel like he can handle to small mouse. I have no idea what size mice are exactly but seems like hoppers are fed for couple months
