Visionariums, Anyone Use Them?
I saw a couple of them at Repticon, they looked interesting so I looked into them. It's an unorthodox design but I think it's interesting. I like how you can knock them down and replace damaged parts. Too bad they're glass, husbandry will probably be a pain in them. I think I'll just stick to my plan of getting PVC tanks. I was wondering if anyone ever used those, I'm kinda curious to see how they'd compare to the standard glass tank design.

I cant give any insight on them specifically. As you said though, they are not one for holding heat at all or humidity. Glass is the #1 worst.

I saw a few listed on Craigslist for sale. Looked into them for a minute but quickly decided to save my money for PVC. Looks like a slightly better designed glass enclosure to me. Which, to me, equals the same headaches I currently have with glass.

They are better than aquariums/screen tops because of the plastic bottom and plastic top. The air vent is much easier to cover than a full screen glass tank. I do like the design, just not a fan of that much glass in an enclosure. If the back and sides could be plastic, that cage would rock for small animals.

*~* Nothing sticky (tape, stick on gauges, Velcro) goes into your enclosure! Again...NOTHING sticky goes into your enclosure....EVER! *~*
