I still know very little about snakes in general, but I love the silver colour that set it apart from common BCIs! If longtails were more commonly sold and known here I definitely would've considered one.

    Thanks
The Bcl come in loads of shades of silver black and gold , very rarely two look alike but normally have an amazing head spear and the black is so black and glossy especially as they mature, she’s changed loads since I first had her, my male has a lot more Black on his sides than she does.theres even some amazing anery ones which are almost black and white as they mature normally around 3

Had my little Male Bcl “Etso “out for some tv time last night as my wife is on night this week, he was out of blue this morning so should shed in the next few days, he’s still nice and glossy saying he in shed, he’s so much darker than my female Bcl

Little “Etso “ shed last night and was looking great in his new coat,he’s totally different to the female,so much darker, he has a great head spear and I love his gold square saddles shame the sun wasn’t out to show how glossy he is

I love the head markings! So beautiful!

How big do they get? What’s their temperament? They seem chill.

    Really beautiful creatures. Wow!

    Re: Peruvian longtail boa Bcl

Thanks dakski, his markings are pretty cool
If if I say so my self

He is super chilled, he was a drop feeder in the dark till about 3months a go and he's a right pig now always wanting food even a few days after feed, he never did that before , don't know what changed in him, glad it has like,he's out loads of growth on the last few months

He's still a Fair bit smaller than his future wife, but males generally are, they normal are around 5-6ft and not girthy like bci. Really great snakes

Gosh they are like perfect together. Everything I could ever want in a 1.1 BCL pair, is what you have.

My little BCL is growing super fast with a 7-10 day schedule. He has the craziest food response though and gave my wife her first snake bite We love him.
    Too Many...

    That's what my wife says
