More than pastel??

We bought our Pastel female back in August. She was sold as a single gene, but I can't help but think there is something more influencing the pattern.

The pairing was Pastel Banana X Pastel but I'm wondering if the parents might have had something else? What do y'all think?

Looks like something is going on. I'd say HRA or black back. Could be just a oddity tho

I've never seen a pastel that looks like that so I would have to believe there is something more going on as well. Odd pastel or pastel plus another unknown gene, that is a gorgeous snake either way.

What if the male pastel and the female pastel were from different lines in the pastel complex? I think their are 4. But would that change the pattern that much?

Looks like a highly blushed black back pastel. I would have thought poss super pastel because of how light and blushed out it is but I assume not since the breeder didn't sell it as one.
Can you find out from the seller what the parents were?

Here is my dark black back pastel (Black back may be inheritable but can also be natural variation from what I understand)

i thought they're was something going on w/ your hottie Pastel when i saw it in your intro thread. i initially thought Pastel HRA. it's odd b/c i can see different things in the Pastel - parts HRA, part GHI, part Leopard.

i honestly think it's just a really hot but low expression Leopard Pastel.

either way, it's gonna be your job to prove it out.
