    Xmas set up

I know it’s a bit late but only just found this section, im now visual merchandiser at a big garden centre in the U.K., i have been a plant buyer for over 20 years but being creative Ive always done Xmas set up aswell,so they gave full time position do this role, I get to create all the nice visual element around the centre and this year has been a great success. Ive been doing the Christmas set up at this centre for 5yrs and this I feel is one of my best so thought I would share a few pics, We was 30% up
On sales compared to last year and customer numbers was 15% down , so I must of done something right

those are some lovely arrangements. i like some of the modern styles like in the first pix and the more traditional stuff in the second pix w/ all the reds. i like the softness of it all and not in your face gaudiness.

the roses arrangement doesn't look to Christmasy tho.

Edit: where's the Toy Story arrangement w/ your Buzz Lightyear costume?

Really nice displays! I love that first one, all of them are very nice!

I used to do the merchandising displays at Hot Topic in the 90s when I worked there and I loved when they would give me the creative freedom to do whatever I thought would look nice.

I have a few photos but I'm moving in a few months and they are already packed up. I'll try to remember to scan and post them in a new thread after the move. I worked there from 1992-95.
