Wrong category Right. Choice. Need local asf breeder

I'm cutting it close on my bp feeding s hedule this year and moving from frozen rats to a possible small live colony of African soft fur. Not looking to let them think on there own to keep the amount down below 20 or so! So I may be interested in travelling through Massachusetts/ RI. Parts of Connecticut and new Hampshire to find. Anybody around those areas you can recommend?

FYI, I'm pretty sure that African Soft Fur rats are still covered under the Lacy act and it's against the law to transport them across state lines, I think it may be a Felony? You'll have to find them in your state to comply with the law.

I used to breed ASF, they are very slow to produce. My rats and mice produce much faster. For me keeping ASF was like having pets instead of a colony of feeders. I finally got rid of them.

I'm looking into starting to breed them and I'm in NH. Trouble I'm having right now, is just to find them.
All my BPs are on Live mice right now, but i've done a ton of research and it does look like ASF is the better way to go if you are going to breed BPs as well.
