yes i know all this its just i want to know how often they don't mention in any guide I suppose its every day its just i wonder if its normal for them to stop feeding for a couple days

From what I remember reading (you can check for discussions on that site) adults are fed most days, but occasionally do not eat for a day. Don't take my word for it.
What type of tegu are we talking about? the arg B&Ws should be getting ready to hibernate for the winter that could explain why he stopped eating. Other reasons are temps if their temps drop to low they will stop eating. Check his temp and keep an eye on him if he doesnt show true signs of hibernation I would get him vet checked.
I have one and what are the signs of hibernation. Its a young B & W Tegu.
