She's a beautiful little girl, congratulations!! Nothing cuter than a hoggie snoot. I look forward to watching her grow!

If you're not sure, play it safe. If they CAN find their way out, they WILL. So definitely make sure it's escape proof. I lost a Kingsnake years ago that way.

the issue is thats all her air holes, so i cant really cover all of them cause the humidity will go up. when i put her in there she did her rounds trying to get out like all the corners everything but didnt even attempt the holes

    Re: Meet Luna!

DAY 2!!! shes such a sweetheart, a tiny little girl but i love her to death. she doesnt like the light very much i can tell, i woke up to her curled up in her hide and turned the lights and she immediately burrowed herself! before taking these pics i found her curled under her water bowl. she tends to be a bit scared when you first go to pick her up but once she realizes youre not trying to harm her shes a sweetheart! tomorrow the mice are coming in, so shell get her first feeding attempt, which if anyone sees this, is it best to feed hoggies during the day or at night when the lights go off?

    Re: Meet Luna!

i just moved the water dish so she couldnt go under it cause i know everything is supposed to be directly on the bottom so i moved it a little more central so she didnt have the grooves to go under it!

Cosmo hides under his water dish all the time.

Actually, so do my King and Borneo. I find that dog food bowls that are hollow underneath make great hides.
