Snake thoughts....
Say you have a 36" x 18" x 18" ExoTerra style viv, and you want to put something a bit "unusual" in it. Not your standard BP. What would you get?
I am wondering about tree boas, tree pythons, morelia or maybe a rainbow boa? Any of these suitable for such a tank? Would not be able to upgrade size for at least a couple of years.

ETB need bigger than that, ATBs maybe but GTPs should be either 24x24x24 or 36x24x24. I guess you could put a juvenile GTP in but then again it is glass and we all know how horrible glass is for humidity in most places in North America.

Re: Snake thoughts....
I'm going to move my IJ into one, I'd look into Carpets. I think Rainbow Boas need higher humidity so I wouldn't put one in a glass tank.

Any unusual colubrids I could keep in it?

Perhaps a rosy boa or rough scale sand boa would work thanks to the screen top giving enough circulation for lower humidity. Exotic colubrids are often south east Asian and as such either semi arboreal or high humidity.
Maybe a scaleless texas rat?
