    Fungal Disease In Snakes

Just found this article about a fungal disease in snakes. Anyone that is field herping should report animals showing signs to their local fish and game departments.

This is also a good reminder not to relocate animals or release captive animals into the wild because they can be carriers for such diseases.

If this is a topic that interests you there is a Facebook group called "Snake Fungal Disease (SFD)" where you can get a lot more information.
