Feeding inside the snake's enclosure is the far better way to go. The reasons have basically been explained already in the last few posts.

Food aggression has been proven to be a myth. I've never been mistaken for food by any of my snakes.
Substrate impaction only happens in the most extreme cases which are easily avoidable. Nobody cleans their food in the wild. They digest whole prey, a little dirt won't hurt.
And most importantly, the added stress from being moved will NOT get a snake eating.

Wait a few days and offer in the enclosure after dark. If the prey isn't taken off tongs just leave it overnight. Chances are it will be gone by morning.

    Re: Feeding...

So we are now 3 months down the line yet she still hasn't eaten. Ive read that they can go on a starvation but this seems excessive?

Tried smaller Weeners and Fuffs but nowt.

Usually leave 2 to 3 weeks in between attempts and also leave in her house overnight.

Just how long can they go without?

Age, weight, temps, previous prey being offered by breeder or pet store, temps, decor inside enclosure including hides... all these are questions that can answer what's going on.

If the place you got it from fed live or they place they bought it from fed live and you are trying frozen you might have that as an issue.
