Housing BPs and Hoggies in same rack?

For those with BPs and Hoggies, does anyone house their western hoggies in the same racks as their BPs? Since they require similar temps?

And hoggies are diurnal, but if you house them in a rack, do they do okay? Or do you provide supplemental light in some way?

    Thanks all!

Yes hognose do well in racks and can be house in the same rack than BP, now keep in mind that if later on your plans are to breed you hognose they will have to be cooled to 55 to 60 degrees which means they will have to be moved.

If you do not plan to breed them they can be kept at the same temp year round.

    Thanks Deborah!

I have completely given up on breeding and am justing keeping pet animals these days. But I have one open tub in my V70, and have always wanted a Hoggie. Granted, I’m aware that’s much too large for a young Hoggie, but I was just curious if it would be fine to put an adult female Hoggie in there. Seems that would work out just fine. 😉

A V-70 will be too big for an adult female. A V-35S will comfortably house an adult female for her entire life.
