Does anything look wrong in this picture?

I recently got my first BP and I posted this same picture on a different website. Somebody made a comment saying that my enclosure looked terrible and they felt sorry for my snake, so I asked them to elaborate but they didn't. Basically I'm trying to figure out what's wrong, because I really don't see it. Could it be the plant? The substrate? The water bowl? I really wanna know so that I can correct his immediately. Thank you!

Beats me??? Bowl & plant are fine...should have 2 hides, one on warm side & one on cool side of cage, but I assume this isn't quite the entire cage?
You know some ppl just apparently enjoy trolling others, so consider that, especially since they couldn't or wouldn't explain what they meant.
Stick around, we don't put up with trolls here, & we're happy to have you.

It might be that they "don't approve of using glass tanks for BPs" but not all here use the same kinds of caging...glass tanks can be modified to work
OK for snakes like BPs (to retain humidity by covering most of screen top to restrict air flow), that's up to you. I don't currently keep BPs, I have
mostly colubrids (that don't need high humidity) and I PREFER glass tanks. I've heard though that there are groups around that really "shun" any-
one keeping a BP in a glass tank, so if I had to guess, that's probably what you ran up against.

Thanks for the reply! I was a bit worried and wanted to make sure I wasn't making some sort of rookie mistake lol. The picture only shows the cool side of the enclosure, the other side has another hide and a humidity box. So far I haven't had any issues with temperature or humidity, and my snake had a successful ninth meal (first since I got him). He really seems to be doing great!

Your enclosure looks completely fine and your cute little baby noodle looks happy, sounds like you are doing everything right. Congrats on getting your first ball python, they make amazing pets.

Thank you so much! I've been wanting to get a ball python for the last couple of years. They're truly fascinating and extremely adorable!

Maybe they thought that was the entire enclosure and not just a part of it?
