    Light fixtures for arboreal set-ups?

So I'm looking for ideas and wondering what type of lighting set up does everyone use for their arboreal (or semi-arboreal) snake cages, specifically for pvc or wooden cages?

Do you have your lights mounted inside or outside your cage? If inside do you use a guard to make sure your snake doesn't drag the light down or get burned? What kind of lighting do you use with what kind of fixture? And of course sharing pictures or any product recommendations would be great! I'm mostly interested in suggestions that would benefit a diurnal species and/or offer some form of full spectrum lighting.
