I wouldn't feed until he sheds.

Re: Should I Try Feeding Axel?

One of my 3 BP's will eat regardless if he is in blue or not. My other 2 not so much. You could always try but it may be a waste of a food item for you. If they miss a meal no big deal.

It doesn't hurt to try to feed if he doesnt just toss it outside and some wild animal will have a nice holiday meal!

No reason not to try. I have had many snakes, including two yesterday, gladly eat while in full blown shed.

I prefer to feed my snakes after they shed even though most of them would happily eat during the process. They're really fired up for food post shed.

Yep I'd agree with the guy above -most of mine aren't interested or are even very timid during shed -guessing they can't see at all well with those messed up eyes

u can try, but keep in mind that if your snake doesn't eat, u wasted a meal which costs $. if your budget is tight, u might not wanna take that chance. if your BP is healthy, it won't starve and can wait until after the shed.

Re: Should I Try Feeding Axel?

Clyde is currently in blue so I'm skipping him this week.

You can try but you might just waste money. BP's can go off feed for months. Missing a week won't hurt axel.
