    First Bad Shed

So around a week ago, my BP, Luna, was in her shedding cycle and our water was shut off due to some issues up the road, so the only water we had was super chemical mineral metallic water that I didn't really want to risk giving her. Luckily her spray bottle was still pretty full, so I was able to provide her with water, and after turning her heat lamp down (just a couple degrees on the cool side) and adding a little extra insulation to the top keep the humidity up with less spraying. However, near the end of her cycle, her water got very low, and her humidity dropped to around 50%. Now, I figured this wouldn't kill her, and I was right, but during her shedding cycle, I normally have it in the upper 70's. Her humidity never dropped below this and once the water was good and fine, I gradually got her conditions back to normal. Now, as far as the shed, it did all come off, but it was in a bunch of pieces. Every other time, it has been in one nice long piece. Now this is my first BP, I've had her nearly 11 months and she's 15 months old, so maybe I'm overreacting, but I just want to make sure. She seems fine, I fed her a F/T rat and she digested and defecated like normal. There does not appear to be anything else wrong with her. Given the circumstances described above, is there anything else I should look out for or keep an eye on?

    Thank you

Aw sorry Luna had a bad shed First week I had Coco she had an AWFUL shed. She was fully trapped in stuck shed and looked like an old man! I've only had her for 3 months, I think she's about 5 months old. Some more experienced people on here may have better advice than me!

I think the only thing to watch out for is any stuck shed that is around the end of the tail or head/neck area. Sometimes they can become like a tourniquet Maybe potentially retained eye caps, though it sounds like she's ok .
