LAZY! [warning snake eating rat picture]

My ball python is now so lazy I have to hold the rat to his nose so he can slowly wrap around it. I swear I am the proud owner of the laziest BP in the world! Not only is he lazy in how he wants his food, he now drags it into his hide to eat. In fact he only barely comes out of his hide to strike. He used to be such an outgoing snake but now he is just a slug

Bonus picture of him pretending to constrict it to death with only one coil and barely any pressure (yes he is just barely out of his hide). I guess this is my way of guilt shaming him LOL good things snakes can't read.

That's better than having a snake who comes lunging toward the door with it's mouth open whenever it thinks there's food.

This is funny. Godzilla is the same way. I've only seen her strike once. She is a "drop-feeder" (drop the dead rat in there and leave her in privacy.) Then she will just start eating it without any constriction, just scoop it up and swallow! while still in her hide! Fat, lazy slob!

Of course after he eats does he do the logical ball python thing and curl into a ball to digest? No! He decides now he wants to go out and explore his cage. Look at that big fat belly!
