    Shelves

Last night I put together a PLANO shelf set up for a makeshift rack. Today I plan on hooking up belly heat and dimmer switch and cover sides and back with painters plastic and let run for 24 hours and go from there. But first have to remove clothes from closet to turn into snake room. Fun day.

Do you have any other pictures like a front view maybe?

That looks sketchy, but maybe it'll work. Keep us updated on that.

It's been running now for about 14 hours. With empty tub I'm getting an 88-90 degree hot spot with ambient at 80-81. Humidity is around 64%. And lights are 100 bulb strands generating 40watts. Call it sketchy, that's fine, it will work for me

Not very pretty but I like it Do you happen to remember where you bought the shelf?

Wally World for $19. I cut posts to shorten it. I will say that I do not like having the plastic wrapped around it at all but for now it's serving the purpose till I get a sheet of paneling. And the light strands were cheaper than clamp lights and bulbs. I do miss my 38 quart 8 tub male rack and the 41 quart 12 tub female rack that I had. Miss my collection period

Hey, it works. Can't argue with that. What are you planning to put in it?

My red tail is in a 50 gal tub. Perfect for him. The small rack is for my 2 boys (normal and enchi het orange ghost and female spider super stripe Het SK axanthic/poss Het albino or she is spider super specter yellow belly Het SK axanthic/poss Het albino. Come summer I hope to have female honeybee, axanthic from JD Constrictors (local) and Het albino from local hobbiest. Since both boys and female are hatchlings (11/22/17 boys and female 11/28/17) plenty of time to prove out spider and roll from there.
