cool gecko I used to have a leo gecko when i was a kid but he died on me when he was only one or two years old. Mark it up to improper care i'm sure, although i don't remember how i took care of him. It's been so long now.

I had a Tokay among other geckos as a kid. My Tokay was the spawn of satan. I had to use a freakin dowel stick to shove him from one side of the cage to the other when cleaning as that lizard would stand his ground and be ready to rumble at the drop of a hat lol.

He also used to bite the heads off pinky mice and just eat that and leave the bodies. Not sure how he did as pinky mice are tiny.

He also used to bark at night lol. In a strange way i kind of miss him. He definitely made interaction interesting haha.

I still want a Leachie. They look awesome and get huge.

Tokay are known as the spawn of evil, which is why they are not very popular in the pet trade.

Rhacks (Crested, Gargoyle, Leachies, Chaoua) have personality some more than others but are not the spawn of evil well not as a generality, they are very popular some however are harder to get get by compare to others simply because breeding is not as easy and they are not as prolific. The two most common are Crested and Gargoyles.

Yeah, Leachies are kind of spendy and in my half hearted search just so i knew some breeders if i decided for one, they were also kind of hard to find.

Personally I'm not a fan of lizards, although there is one that I would consider getting - a Red Tegu! Some day when I move my reptile shop into a dedicated building I'll get a red tegu and let the guy run around the shop while I'm working like a little dog LOL. You know what they say in the retic world, go big or go home!

I have loved my experience keeping a tegu. However, I wouldn't really let them roam lol. They are relentlessly destructive sometimes. Also, make sure you don't turn it into a ball of fat as so many people do.
