    Bradbury Ball Python's Breeding Thread

Question out of curiosity - How does everybody get decent lock pics without disturbing the pair? I have bad lighting when I check on them in the morning or in the evening. Not that it is super important, but pictures do give me a confirmation of date(s) of locks.

Hypo Enchi Butter X Black Pastel Het. Hypo

Firefly Calico X Russo (bad timing on the pic - they were locked)

    Firefly Calico X Disco Spider

    Clown X Leopard Pinstripe

CG/Banana (Het. VPI Axanthic) X Cinnamon Yellowbelly

More to come as the season progresses!

Some really cool stuff going on

As far as your question, while I rarely take pictures of the animal I pair, when I do I have a speedlight on my DSLR

I have been waiting on this girl to get up to size forever. I think she was stuck at 1200 grams for two years, but when I started to pair her anyway, she quickly jumped up to over 2000 grams.

    YB Pied X Pastel YB

I am also pairing Hypo Butter Enchi X Blackhead Het. Hypo, but I can't get a decent picture of them. I am doing several of the same pairings from last year because they didn't have clutches yet.

I have had four ovulations so far in March. 3/4 - Black Pastel Champagne Het. Hypo, 3/23 - Pastel Yellowbelly and Mystic Potion Spotnose, and 3/24 Leopard Pinstripe.

Nice pairings!! It doesnt seem to distrub them when I pull out drawers for a quick pic but Ive just never been concerned with them looking like quality shots.

The first girl to lay this season. I should have four more girls that will lay sometime within the next month or so.

This clutch - 4 eggs - Hypo Enchi Butter X Black Pastel Champagne Het. Hypo
