OMG is right! WOW! I saw an albino Burmese Python at a local pet shop, I think they wanted $400 for it. It looked about as big as a hatchling, I couldn't believe they had one! I have two retics that are breeding, that's enough big snake for me, although I have to say I was tempted!!

Thanks all! And a special thanks to everyone who chimed in on the many occasions when i asked for advice in choosing a species. Every snake is great in its own way, but after much consideration i think the burm was the best fit for me and mine (apologies to Sauzo LOL). I was starting to think i might just put it off, prices were high and i was wondering if making the hike to the rep show wouldn't be a waste, but then lo and behold a breeder has a black friday/cyber monday sale! I dont usually like to talk about money publicly, but i think part of the value of this site is informing each other of the trends in the marketplace, he's albino green 100% het granite and i paid $225 shipping included.

Lol grats man. Dont feel bad, i almost pulled the trigger on a Sipperly/Futo mega peak suriname from Russel Le Fleur last night. I was talking to him about her and saw pics of the parents. I decided to think on it and this morning it was sold lol. Oh well, I really want either a pinched saddle nice yellow Iquitos Peruvian or a Gila or Beaded Lizard which is why i had to think on it.

Not a bad price i dont think. Not really up on prices on burms. The BCC i was looking at was $600 shipped which is about average but like i said, i fell in love with the pinched saddle Peruvians and have always loved Gilas and Beaded lizards.

You dont have any pics from the breeder to show us!!??

I'd been shopping around for a while, and that price was way way lower than anything comparable i'd seen, and i could just imagine obsessing over it over the next few months. I do have a pic, but its not very nice, he's deep in shed - i could post it, but i'm thinking of first impressions.
