    Hatching vs Adult

So, I've had my corn snake for roughly four and a half years and just found pictures from when I first got him!

I'd kind of forgotten how drastically their colors and patterns can change as they age.

Here he is as a baby and now four and a half years later

Feel free to post pictures of yours as hatchlings vs adults (along with morph!)

    Howl is a Granite corn.

nice! Granite looks great! i like how he developed some yellows and how his pattern mellowed out.

Here's lil baby Hotdog eating a pinkie.

    and here's him chilling.

Hotdog was quite the bitey baby. Lol he used to think he was a Rattler.

This is Hotdog today at 400-plus grams.

he's mellowed out and will sometimes eat directly from my tong!

Edit: i'll also try to post pix of my lil Avalanche.

Loving these baby to adult photos! I hope more chime in!

This is my girl Garnet (normal triple het snow motley). Here she was as a baby in 2001, such a tiny thing!

And here she is as an adult, photo from a few years ago but she hasn't changed since then:

I'm so jealous! Howl is super chill and docile except at feeding time. At feeding time he B-lines straight for my hand. He's legitimately terrifying to feed haha. I have to distract him and lure him to one side and drop his mouse in the top of the tank at the other side. Otherwise he comes flying out of the tank or ends up trying to nom my hand.
