    Ball Python pooping

I have a pastel bp that is about 1 yr old. He weighed 375 grams when I purchased him. He now weighs 1053 grams. He has never refused a meal, always has good sheds. Always pooped good. On 8-14 he had a very good poop. About the size of my Min Pins, lol. On 9-13 he had a small poop, kind of like he was constipated. Since then he hasn't gone. His stomach doesn't feel hard or anything. He is still taking his rats with gusto. Seems to be normal in all other areas. Same tub, and rack. Temps and humidity the same. I am getting concerned about this. Is this normal? He was my first snake. I now have 6. All the others are doing fine. TIA

How many "logs" did he poop in September? And how often do you feed?

As long as you don't see a HUGE "sausage butt" you're probably fine. I notice mine will often not poop before a shed is coming, then leave me a juggerpoop when they shed.

Well woke up to good news this morning. My boy finally had a nice large poop!!!! Guess I was worrying too soon.
I am feeding every seven days with a small to medium rat.

We are a strange bunch of pet keepers us snake people. We get so giddy when our babies eat rodents as well as thrilled when they poop

Mine is going through an unexpected shed and I am like waiting for christmas to see the shed even though we have been though this for years.
