Supplemental heat because my apartment is pretty cold in that room and it's better to have it and not need it than to need it at some point and not have it.

Gotcha! The reason I ask is because I'm about to order a Herpstat and trying to decide if I should order the 1 or the 2. May go ahead and order the Herpstat 2 just in case..

I have the size of a T10 from RBI and use heat tape and an 80 watt RHP it works perfectly in cooler climates. I get a perfect warm spot with belly heat and excellent ambient temps from the RHP.

Canada gets even colder than where I am so I would assume it would help just as well.

As an aside, every time is see something from you about Jeffree I just have to smile. I love that name. It’s cute, adorable, and just boopable. And you get such personable photos of the little guy.

Lol it does get pretty cold in the winter and hot in the summer like anywhere else. I keep my apartment cool all year round because I hate being hot lol so I prefer to only run the heaters once or twice a day in the winter plus heaters wreak havoc on my skin sinuses and lips yuck

Ah, makes sense! I totally missed the Canada in her location. Yeah, I'd imagine it does get a bit chilly up there.

Will do, thanks! Will order it on the 17th when Spyder Robotics' holiday sale kicks off.

Herpstat 2 all day long. Even if you do not get a secondary heat source you can control lights, check humidity with that optional probe, etc.
