    What are you listening to?

Just trying to get a feel for the musical preferences on this forum, so I must ask you; What are you listening to currently?

Name one song by one artist please.....can be an old song, new song, whatever floats your boat.

Yes I know it's difficult as I listen to quite a bit of different genres and artists myself, just choose your favorite.

    I'll get this started.

    Badfish by Sublime.

    Love that bass line.

Probably my favorite Sublime track, which made me want to go with the Dirty Heads kick I've been on, but...
right now I'm hooked on "Let's go to War" by Nothing More

Oh, there are so many songs I love.

But 2 of them that I really like are

    "Society" by Eddie Vedder

    and

"Behind the Wall" by The Smithereens . I think this song could be from any given time, 70's till now. Best listened to at some volume

Both seem timeless, have GREAT guitar, and the lyrics appeal to me

Re: What are you listening to?

Nice idea for a thread. I listen to a little bit of everything too. From gospel to country to classical to rap. Lately I've been bumping the latin hip hop channel on Pandora. Right now I'm listening to El Amor Viene Y Va by Nach. Granted I don't speak much Spanish at all but I love the beats and lyrical flows, and since American hip-hop is mostly trash these days I prefer to not listen to that nonsense.

I love the track they did feat. Jacoby from Papa Roach too, called "Don't Stop". Took me a listen or two, but now I love it.

Oddly enough I am listening to myself. I am driving my poor wife nuts. I came out of the stone age (4 track) a couple weeks ago and bought some recording software. Now my wife has to listen to me at home, at work, and on the way to work. Most of the stuff sucks. She is a tolerant lady.

Other than that I go on kicks for about a week. Everything from GnR to Johnny Cash.
Honest, I only need one more ...

    Classic Rock
Older (Classic) Country, not new "pop" sound. I also like "red dirt" or "Texas" country.

At the moment TSO's Christmas Canon is running through my head and won't get out, because I heard it on the radio this morning on the drive to work.
