I am very hesitant to tell anyone breed this and you will get that and be able to sell it for a gazillion dollars. I believe people think this is a lot easier than it actually is. In this case the OP must acquire the right animals, they have to actually breed, eggs have to be laid. Babies need to survive. Now you have to sell them. The build it and they will come mentality fails when it come to snake breeding. You have to be able to market yourself and your snakes to sell.

Harsh reality goes like this... I produced a lot of healthy, nice babies this year. I have not sold even one of them at retail prices. I had two potential buyers. One fell through because of the hurricane and I could not ship. Another fell through because the buyer wanted a girl. Granted, I have not tried to market too much. I am on a five year plan and frankly don't have to make any money playing with snakes. I can also always wholesale my stuff off but that is for 50 cents on the dollar.

Do not get into this for the money, it is not there unless you have the cash to invest up front. I do this because I love to do it. If I pay for my rats for the year, I am happy.

Personally and obviously the choice is yours, I would only prove a possible het with a visual, even then you could still luck out. At least with a visual the worst case scenario if you luck out is to end up with hets which is better than poss hets.

I know for sure my male is het as his clutch mates were visual clowns. I'd be willing to spend around 500$ on a female visual baby but for the same price I can grab a super pastel blade het clown that's just about sub adult size.
I recently acquired a leopard pastel 66% het clown male and want some opinions on a female.
It's either poss het or het the presence of a Clown in the clutch does not make a sibling het clown it depends on the pairing, and if it was sold to you as Poss het than it can go both ways (no one will sell a Pastel Leo Het clown for the price of a poss het and vice versa)

Het Clown to Het clown will produce Clowns and Poss Het Clowns (66% Poss Hets)

    Re: What would you do?

I'm not in this for the money, I know this is a tough industry to make money.
I'm simply in it to produce some stuff that I personally love but there's not a lot for sale or they're just crazy expensive morphs that I can wait to have and do it myself with my own twist.

Sorry, I was not addressing you directly. I didn't care for some of the advise you were getting. There are too many people that believe that if someone sells a snake for a price they can get that price also. It is often not true, and it is definitely not true when the pairing is a couple of years down the road.
