    Escaped tegu

Haven't done an intro yet. But here's geo. He's about 3 months old and he's a b & w argentine tegu. He's very sdiddish and tonight gave me quiet a scare when he somehow escaped his home. Scared me so bad. No clue how he could have got out. But I found him. Luckily my rooms door was closed. After tearing my room apart and emptying my closet I found him in the other closet freezing cold. So glad I found him ❤️

Probably just scared, didn't care whether he was cold or warm, just wanted to hide. What kind of enclosure do you have him in?

It's a Rubbermaid equivalent to a 40 long breeder give or take a couple inches. His large 6x4 enclosure will be done before the end of the month. He somehow jumped two feet up and squeezed through a quart sized hole in the lid

They are strong lizards, they can jump high and push a lid open with their nose pretty easily.

I've had the pleasure of learning they can tear through hardware cloth.
