    Enclosure design

Not entirely sure where to put this, and feel free to move it somewhere else if this isn't the place, but I was flipping through some pics of Maze's enclosure from four months ago and realized how much I've changed how I organize things. I used aspen the first two months, because my hydrometer was faulty and apparently was reading a whole 20% higher than it actually was. :/. All fixed now, though!

    Before she arrived:

    One month later:

Switch to coco chip + more clutter:

    The "fairy garden" setup:

And today (waiting on temps to settle):

Anyone else have fun reorganizing things? Or have a specific design they like? Please share!

Those flat slabs of rock are awesome. I had some left over and put them in my snake's cage last year and he loves them. Loves basking on them and rubbing against them during shed.

I love slate rocks! Hoping to find some bigger pieces and maybe make a big hide out of them when Maze gets older. It'll double as a basking spot as well. They're just super aesthetically pleasing, which helps . For now I'm tempted to paint her current hides to look like slate, but IDK if my art game is that strong lmao.
