    I've got a question....

I'm sorry but I need to know EXACTLY how to make a hot spot and if my ambient temp. is correct.

I wasn't really getting what everyone was saying on my other post, I got a little problem not being to understanding what some people mean, sorry.

Please forgive me for asking this BASICALLY again.

    Thank you.

    Re: I've got a question....

The hot spot should be the hottest surface temperature on one side of your enclosure. For instance, the left side of my enclosure is my hotspot which stays around 90-91 degrees Fahrenheit. I have a UTH on the underside of the enclosure on this side which is controlled by a Thermostat. Your ambient temperature is the air temperature in your enclosure which should be around 78-80 degrees. Hope this helps.

THANK YOU!! Do you have a suggestion what I should put my UTH thermostat up too? Right now it is up to 88 and it is normally 73 in our house.

Some say it depends on the temperature of the room I have mine set to 92 and my temperature gun always reads the bottom of the tank at 90 but I don't know if it's the same for everyone
