My first clutch! Need help identifying a few of them.

Paring was a queen bee x butter pastel. Six eggs, all hatched out perfectly. I was desperately hoping for a BEL, since I've always wanted one but never had the money. I lucked out and got two! One of which is showing definite signs of the spider gene. They've all had three meals at this point, with the exception of the pastel who is being a problem child.

I'm thinking I have: 0.1 pastel, 0.1 BEL poss spider, 0.1 BEL, 1.0 queen bee(?), 0.1 queen bee(?), 0.1 butter bee/butter bee pastel(?). The two I suspect are queen bees have slightly different head patterning. Is this just genetic variation?

I thought lesser and butter were two different genes? Thus why butter x lesser = BEL? In this situation is it impossible to tell them apart? I'd hate to sell someone a queen bee looking to add lesser to their collection and it turns out I gave them butter instead.

Lesser X Lesser or Butter X Butter also result in a BEL.
This is a good reason not to mix the two if you are wanting one or the other.
Though if I remember right they are the same.

Butter and Lesser are the same gene from 2 different lines. Similar to Banana and Coral Glow - same gene, two different lines. Best not to mix them.
