Thank you!
Oh, btw, here is the one I am getting, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...KIKX0DER&psc=1
Thanks for the suggestion.
It should go between the heat mat and the bottom of the tank. You'll need to play around w/ the temps on the thermostat to get the temps you want on the surface floor. Keep in mind, you'll lose some heat due to the heat needing to travel through your enclosure (i.e. glass, pvc, etc..) so more then likely your thermostat temp will be set to a higher number then where you want your hot side temp to be. Mine is set to around 100 to achieve surface temps in the low 90s.

LOL came in here hoping tttaylorrr would show one of their nifty diagrams. BTW jumpstart is an amazing thermostat for the price.

credit for that piece of art goes to user PitontheProwl, not me
and i agree: Jumpstart is a great thermostat — i have two! — but i consider them a temporary one until i can afford a more reliable and long-term thermostat like Herpstat. i'm currently saving up for my 4th Herpstat for Coffee Bean's tub!
