Finally Got The Supplies And Also Questions!!

So, I finally got SOME of my supplies, just need two more to be able to get it complete and then I can get the Ball Python.
I need a Thermostat and a Light Temp. Controller and then it'll be complete.

I also have a few questions.

1.My humidity is up to 99... I am using forest floor and I didn't expect for the humidity to go up so high, I know the humidity is to high, I am using a 20 gallon tank and just need some advice, will it go down tomorrow?

2.Does anyone use the Zilla Light Temp. Controller? I've got a 60 watt CHE and I think It'll be best if I get it.

So, anyways, Thank you for the advice and all.

Anyways sorry for the dumb questions and stuff but I am a Newbie for sure. Lol

    1. The CHE should dry out the substrate and get the humidity under control.

    2. I am Not sure which light controller to use, because I use a thermostat with heat tape, but I am sure someone will chime in soon.

1.) Heat and/or vent your enclosure to allow the humidity to escape until an acceptable humidity level is reached. Time it takes to drop appropriately is dependent on your current ambient temps and amount of "breathing" the tank is able to do.

2.) I don't believe you would need both. Also would not recommend the zilla controller.
If you want a budget thermostat, I recommend the Hydrofarm MTPRTC.https://www.amazon.com/MTPRTC-Contro...eed+thermostat

I am using a Ceramic Heat Emitter and a Heat mat. So, do I only need one??
