    Swelling and Pooping concerns

So my boyfriend bought his BP about 3 weeks ago and it has pooped once. He has fed his BP twice since, the last time he fed her was on the 19th last tuesday. She took her meal very nicely even though she's in shed(she's still in shed now). This is his first reptile, He's really concerned about his BP haven't pooped for 2 weeks, I tried telling him that it could be normal because as far as I know reptiles go when they need to; I have a blue tongue skink that could go 3 weeks without pooping..
But then he proceeded to tell me that there has been swelling near the cloaca; I haven't seen it for myself and he has not send me any pictures yet. So I recommended him to soak her on warm water if he was really that worried,
I just want to ask if it is normal for a little swelling near the cloaca when they need to poo?

She probably has what we call sausage butt and will poop soon. My boop usually goes every third meal or so. And so does my other snake Odyn.

However take a pic so we can really see if there is anything to worry about.

Snake is in shed. Probably won't poop until after they shed but watch out for a mountain of poop!

Try not to mess with your snake while in shed, it's really not needed unless they go through the shed and have a bad stuck shed. I would say just let them be until after they shed and if they don't poop within a week after shedding, wait a bit more

BP will poop after shed. I have a ball python that always leaves me a nice stinky surprise in his perfect shed.

My guess is the snake will poop when she sheds. Very common and nothing to worry about. It will most likely be next to a rolled up shed skin. If not, as long as the vent area sheds properly she will probably poop soon after the shed.

One question though, what is the weight of the snake and what size prey is being fed? If the snake is being underfed it will use almost the entire prey item for growth and will not have any left to poop out.
...but, that being said, I'm guessing that's not the case and she will poop when she sheds.

Thank you all for the really helpful replies
I'll be checking on her today and probably will snap a picture to put on here. Hopefully it really is nothing to worry about.

She's feeding on live small weined rats for now, I haven't weighed her so I don't know how much she weighs.
The size of the rat we fed her was a little bit bigger than the size of her girth.

Ok, sounds good. I would just be ready for a big turd when she sheds
