I was updating records today and found this. I just had a females first clutch hatch on her hatch date three years later, amazing. I hatched this female on August 31 2014. Her first clutch emerged from their eggs on August 30 and 31 this year. Her hatch Weight was 56.4 grams and her first clutch ranged from 54-57 grams. Also I am starting to notice my females that have had multiple clutches always lay in the same month of the year each year they lay. I have one that has laid in the first two weeks of July three times. Both of her daughters that were retained from different years both laid in the first two weeks of July, one on the third and the other on the 9th. I do not think that this is due to my timing when I pair nor the weather. My other females have laid in March, April, and May. I always start pairing everyone around the same time. Anyone else see patterns like this?

I haven't been breeding long enough to accumulate such data, but I find it very interesting and fascinating. Waiting on more people to offer their experiences and thoughts
