    Look at your firefly females head, see how it fades out? That is what's referred to as head blushing.

    I think you see blushing of the head and body more in super pastel than pastel. The mother has so much blushing she fooled me into thinking she was a superfly.

    Ohh. Okay well the 5 babies that look similar do have head blushing, it just didn't get picked up very well by the camera. Like by the back of their heads, it fades to a light grey colour

    Yeah, that's why I thought she was a Superfly, because I haven't seen any fireflies that have that much blushing.
