    Accessories for the tank

I have an adult BP in a 40 gallon tank. Right now I just have 2 hides and a small fake plant. Can you guys suggest some decor that would work well like a branch or something.

I found this on Amazon, thoughts?

I have seen a review on this. Cover that hole in the middle and sand the edges. Some of the edges are sharp. That hole lets in to much light if you are using it as a hide. Other than that people love it. Comes in different sizes too.

Fake plants. I like cork flats because they can climb and rest.

I have this and it is one of my snake's favorites

I also have fake vines wrapped around the top of it and grape vine zip tied to that fake wood. He loves to dangle off the grap vine or climb up top of the fake wood.

Mopani wood is also a great safe wood for climbing.

    Re: Accessories for the tank

This is all I use for mine, though still new to this. I bought the fake bamboo sticks for mine(found
at petco for 17 bucks i think it was), their spring loaded so they easily adjust for the tank. Put those in yesterday and she went right up them. Made my own hides as well out of some glad bowls I didn't use anymore lol.

If you add wood, make sure it is not grape vine. Grape vine will mold quickly. Manzanita, ghost wood, cork bark are all good kinds of wood to use. You can also coat wood with polycrylic to help prevent mold and make it easier to clean.
