    Exo Terra size?!

So I wanna get a Exo Terra terrarium for a Kenyan Sand boa, and everything I've researched says a ten gallon aquarium will be good for an adult male. What I'm wondering is since a 10 gallon is 20inx12in12in and the Exo Terra is 18inx18inx12in would that be good since I'm losing 2in in length but gaining 6in in depth? Thanks for any help!

Height isn't hugely important, you want a bit of height because they will burrow, but both of them are plenty.

In terms of floor space, they give you -

    20 x 12 = 240in^2

    18 x 18 = 324in^2

So the one you are after will give you more floor space, which is more important over all.

    Re: Exo Terra size?!

Thanks appreciate that mate. Don't know why I didn't think to find that out myself, chalk it up to stupidity I suppose. Always wanted to say thanks mate, lol. Sorry!
