I'm no expert, but at first glance just seeing the color I was thinking pastel. Then I saw the pattern and knew it was enchi. I'm not experienced enough to know how pastel effects enchi, so I wasn't sure about the pastel. Guess others are saying a clover leaf on the head is how to tell. I will have to keep that in mind. Its a very good looking snake! enchi is a cool morph! Itll be a good gene to have if you decide to breed! Congratulations on being allowed to own a BP!

On the other hand, keep in mind that due to the hobby was illegal until recently, it will take some time for people to get high-end morphs as well, but there are examples of them already. This one, is a very good quality enchi imo, especially considering where in Norway you are located where there isn't many people yet having this hobby.

The most important thing is what you like, do you like the look of him? Go get him then !
You have many good points! I appreciate the feedback. I have for the first moment I saw it been in love such a beautiful snake in my eyes! But also good to get feedback from other reptiles owner ( not that it will change my view on it in any way, but still good to hear what other thinks).

So a little update. Over a 13 hour drive I finally bought it! I have given him some peace and quiet for some days now. Let him settle in a bit. He seems to be very active during nigth time. very fun to see!
He is so small and cute

Well, here is a Pastel Enchi around the same age, for comparison

So yes, a little lighter and a head stamp.

However, your baby is SUPER clean and SUPER bright, so yes, a high quality animal. I'm so happy for you that you can keep one now, and such a pretty one at that. I would be heart broken if such a ban would ever come to pass where I live. Some people always try to pass it, that is for sure..

    So, big congrats
