New Postage Stamps Features Herps!

i just bought some new stamps during my lunch and they're very cute! they've got pets on them. and some of those pets include some of our favorite herps! see:




it includes a Corn Snake, Tortoise, Iguana and Leopard Gecko! this was a welcomed sight. reptiles going mainstream.

also while you're here - do you still write letters? like handwritten letters to other peeps? i hope so. i think the Post Office is valuable and hope it serves us for at least another 1000years.

My friend in Australia and I still exchange hand written letters. Only about once a year now but we still do, she also sends me postcards from time to time which is nice!

I also still write checks. yup.

i like to write letters to my 2 college best friends on rare occasions just to keep them on their toes. we're actually really close and text all the time, but live far away. a letter is kind of this weird yet comforting way to communicate...i think the lengths a person has to go to send a letter when we can communicate in a blink of an eye is very odd yet endearing.

My best friend got married and moved to the U.K. so she and I send each other post cards, letters and weird food all the time. I just recently mailed her lucky charms, Cape Cod potato chips and Jax cheetos because she hasn't had them in six years and was craving them She sent me a can of cockaleekie soup last week and I laughed for about an hour. We snap and text and all that nonsense, but it's fun and more personal to send stuff in the mail. You'll always have something physical to keep and remind you of someone you care for.

I definitely need those stamps!
