Live plants
I am wanting to put live plants in my ball's terrarium. Does anyone have any advise? I'm not wanting to go all the way bioactive though. I don't think. I just want it a little more natural for him

Re: Live plants
Get something seriously tough. I had some plants in my first ball python tank and all but the thick leaved ones were destroyed by the snake crawling on them.

Like said above, they need to be extremely sturdy or they will be destroyed by the snake.

Re: Live plants
Thanks. I got a spider plant, a few ferns, an orchids, a wax plant and a couple others. I just don't know how to make sure they are safe of bugs and parasites. I soaked them in the tub with a couple caps of bleach and ruined them very well. I have not put them in the tank yet. I also made a mix of reptisoil, eco earth, and repti barkto use for substrate. I'm just experimenting with the substrate. This is my first snake. So I'm still trying to learn ad much as i can, so any advise Is greatly appreciated
