My leopard gecko has retained shed on his nose, how do I remove it safely, or do I remove it?

grab that little fooker and rip it off like a band aid

just kidding definitely remove it a wet q-tip or tweezers, if the she is stubborn raise the humidity in the tank
and that should soften it up
