    New cage - Boaphile 322d

Finally found a decent 3 x 2 cabinet on craigslist and painted it to match this past weekend.

Cage has lighting, a UTH, and an RHP that will be controlled via herpstat 2 redline… One probe beneath/against the UTH (putting a very small recess in the cabinet top to accommodate) and the other probe I'll have to float a few inches beneath the RHP somehow...

Will need to drill a small hole in the side or back. Any good suggestions for mounting the RHP probe would be welcome!

Looking forward to getting this thing up and running and saying goodbye to heat lamps and the glass viv.

I just have my thermostat probes stuck through a hole and hanging about half way between the RHP and the floor. Allows it to regulate the temps nicely and avoid being impacted by the snake.

Thinking about my reply, it wasn't really all that helpful, you ask for suggestions on ways to mount it. You can use something like hot glue or sugru at the point of entry, so it holds the probe out a bit more than it would be just dangly on its own.

    Hey Randall,

I'm not seeing the picture, it says 404-Image Not Found.

I'd love to see the new cage!

Weird, wonder why it was giving that message. https://flic.kr/p/WDDkt5 Maybe this link will work.

It's put together with 1" wood screws and solvent welded with scigrip 3 so watertight.

    Sorry for hijacking the thread.
