    Humidity gauge?

I just went through all the stickies and all the humidity gauges in the stickies are temperature as well. I have a temp gun so I don't need the heat with the humidity. Is there a better brand of humidity gauge without temp I should look at?

Also where do I place the probe (if there is one) for the humidity gauge.

I just took took out booples stupid stick on one cause no stick on anything inside her enclosure. Not risking that!!!!

    thanks in advance.

i think most of them nowadays are dual hygro/thermometers so you might not be able to find a hygrometer only that suits your needs. sorry i can't be more helpful here!

I've only used the dual purpose units. It certainly won't hurt if the hydrometer also reads temps.

No probe. Just put them in the enclosure. Nothing to injure the snake. I have at least 10 of them, probably more.

I have them in all my enclosures, no probes. No sharp edges, very lightweight, no risk to the animals. They will move them around a bit and occasionally knock them over, but I try to prop them up with strategically placed tank décor, branches, etc... so they don't get knocked over as easily.

Cigar humidor hygrometers are very good. I have used this 3 for at least 7 years with no problems, just battery replacement. You can re-calibrate them as well.
