    My WANT List

Besides the "white" or "white-ish" morph ball python I'm searching for, I've found interesting and might possibly look into getting a Russian rat snake and Bamboo rat snake. Those Russian rat snakes are just so cool, in how they handle and are always wandering in curiosity. And, the Bamboo rat snakes, wow, how beautiful those reds are... at least in pictures. Never seen one in person, so can't say if they look just as vibrant!

Anyone have a Bamboo, that can comment on their demeanor?

Hey Charles, I also want a Russian Rat Snake. But I think they are hard to find. Good luck in your search and if you find some, please let me know.

    Re: My WANT List

Hit up Rob and Amy Zerkle, search for Zerkle Reptile on FB. The breed both Russians and bamboos. IIRC they're packing up or on the way to a big show this weekend, but they are really nice people. My husband has a VBB and a King ratsnake from them.

Russian rat snakes are awesome! They are definitely going to be my second snake choice in the future! I've been hearing nothing but good things about Zerkle Reptiles. Elaphe schrenckii & Elaphe anomala is also a great group on fb for russian rats and info/shared resources about them.

But so cool! If you end up getting either snake please let us know! Don't get to see that many rat snakes, especially Russian rats!
