I'm far from an expert on corns but I'd be looking more at the general tail shape as that isn't a good pop and I wouldn't like to recommend pressing harder.

You cannot pop a colubrid such as corn accurately by having your fingers place the way you have them, find someone local and have them teach you are to do it, it's not hard but it takes the right pressure and the right finger placement.
