Corn Snake Nose Blocked? Need Advice

I very recently got a Corn Snake, about 5 years old, and he recently went through a bad shed with his previous owner. His breathing seems fine, but he keeps making squeaking/wheezing noises- I can't see anything, but I'm thinking his nose is blocked a little by some leftover skin. If this is the case, I've read that a damp pillowcase might help remove it, but I'd like some further opinions before I try anything. Thanks!

I would go to a vet as that could be a respiratory infection. It may just be some stuck shed but I'm leaning more towards and RI based on the noises you're describing. It's not uncommon for snakes to come down with an RI but you don't want to leave it untreated or hope it goes away on it's own.

A bad shed is a sign it had poor husbandry. You need to get that on point.

If you have signs of RI and vet visit us in order. If you truly believe it is from the bad shed I would get things on point so the next shed goes well.

Not being there I can't tell you exactly what to do.

Any other signs of RI like mucus, pointing head upwards, yawning with visible stringy saliva?

No sign of any mucuc as far as I can tell, he seems to be acting normal- I haven't seen him look upwards, and he's only opened his mouth once while being with me, I didn't notice anything unusual. I'll keep an eye out, and probably get him seen to just in case. Thanks
