    Getting a milksnake

    My friend cant take care of her albino nelson's milksnake anymore and he is gonna come live with me now, im getting a 20 gal for him, what im not sure about is what to feed and how often? They told me he is getting 2 rat pups a week, any other tips are appreciated

    I would start with a mouse just larger than the girth of your snake and feed once a week. How old is the snake??

    Do you have pictures of the snake? That could help give you a better idea of what size the snake is possibly eating or should be eating.

    You didn't mention what heat source you plan to use?? You will also need a good thermostat to control your heat source.

    Do you have hides??

    Best to be prepared before bringing him home. Check out the caresheets on the forum for good information.
