Crazy. I guess she was on the phone with 911 while the snake was attached to her face?

It only says further in the article, but the boa was only 5 feet long... that's pretty small.

And she apparently doesn't know about white vinegar. LOL

I have a 5 ft male ball that I know can crank down enough on my neck to make me pass out if I let him. I imagine a boa is even stronger. This is why I wonder what makes people think they can control a burm or a retic alone. I want to beat my head against the wall when these types of animals are sold to inexperienced people.
Honest, I only need one more ...

I agree with you but I am guilty as anyone else. When I am cleaning, unless someone is helping, I will throw my adults around my neck. One of these days I am going to get my nose bit but at least it is only a ball. I would never want to take a bite to the face from a boa or the larger pythons. Might improve my looks though. LOL

Mine are around my neck all the time as well. Maybe it's not a matter of if I get tagged in the face, butwhen.. but the species I keep (and plan to keep eventually) won't do much other than make me look like a fool explaining the bite mark on my face.

Boas proportionately are much longer, so a 5 ft boa would be much thinner than a 5 foot ball, I imagine. But seriously, those people who get a large species alone are missing a screw and apparently didn't care to do research on what they're getting into.

and lol I'm also guilty of having snakes around my neck if I'm cleaning, but I keep them from wrapping around.

I have an adult Corn snake plus few Royals/ Balls that I'd trust around my neck as they're so placid but none of the others ...inc the Adult Snow boa and Dwarf Burm and also the Kings for other reasons

Wow. Says she had just gotten it like the day before as a rescue. I find the article title a bit misleading though. I don't consider the nose being the same as the face. And I'd be more concerned about the neck wrap.
